What’s the most valuable lesson you’ve learned while working in this field?
To always expect the unexpected! There is no Black & White when it comes to running Exhibitions, and you need to be able to think on your feet.
What’s your proudest moment while working in events?
“There have been many, however I have to say that during years from 2020-2023 when we had to postpone our events more than 8 times, due to the Pandemic Lockdowns and other factors, my Team at EENZ amazed and astounded me with their grit and resolve to keep us going through such difficult times, as did our CEO for her strength and courage. Also, our loyal and committed customers.
What’s a piece of advice you’d share with someone new to the industry?
There is a perception that this industry would be all fun and excitement – whilst that is true at times, there is a lot of ground work which goes into putting on a large scale event, and that entails the ‘not so glamourous’ type of work 😉
